Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1 November 2026
This policy explains what information MyanPing collects when you use our website, desktop app and game-routing service, why we need it, how long we keep it and who helps us process it. We do not sell your information and we do not show ads.
1. What we collect
Account: your email address, the name and phone number you give us, and your password (stored only as a secure hash by our login provider).
Payments: your invoices, the payment method you chose, the transaction ID, the payment screenshot you upload and any note you add. Card payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy; we never see your card number.
Connections to our servers: when a device connects we record the time, the region, the device’s IP address, your account name and whether the connection was allowed (for example "expired", "too many devices" or "heavy download"), and when the connection ends. We count how much data each account uses, per minute and per day.
Server logs: our relay servers keep a short system log of the same connections. When a connection through a relay fails, that log also notes the address it was trying to reach, so we can fix problems.
Desktop app reports: while Boost is on, the app sends a short report every minute: app version, operating system, the game and region in use, the route (for example UDP or TCP) and connection quality (ping, packet loss, reconnects). It does not include your files, other apps or browsing.
Beta connection log: during the beta, the desktop app also sends its connection log every few minutes while Boost is on. It contains only MyanPing’s own events and the connections of the games it boosts (times, game servers, routes and errors). Other apps’ connections, website names and your PC’s user name are removed on your PC before it is sent.
Problem reports and support: what you write, the game, your internet provider and app version, and any files you attach. If you choose to include the app’s log, it can contain the names of websites and apps your PC connected to and folder names on your PC, because the app sees your PC’s connections to pick out game traffic. The log is only sent if you tick that option; passwords and keys are removed before it is sent.
Feedback and beta access: your answers to the feedback form (game, internet provider, how it worked, rating and comments). To give one beta access per PC, we keep a one-way scrambled code made from your PC’s ID; it cannot be turned back into the ID.
Sign-ins to the website: the email used, IP address, browser type and whether the sign-in worked, to protect your account.
2. What goes through our servers
Only game traffic, the sign-in traffic some games need, and the Discord app (blocked by many internet providers in Myanmar) go through our relay servers. Your other internet use, including browsing, video and downloads, goes directly from your PC as usual. Traffic through our relays is encrypted between your PC and the relay; the relay then forwards it to the game server.
We do not record the content of your traffic. To pick out game traffic, the desktop app looks at your PC’s connections on your own PC; that information stays on your PC unless you include the app’s log in a problem report, except the boosted games’ connections in the beta connection log.
3. Why we use it
To run your account, check payments and switch your access on, enforce the device limit, keep the servers healthy and fast, stop abuse and key sharing, answer support questions, improve the service, and send emails about your account and payments.
To keep the service fair for everyone, we limit each connection’s speed. If an account moves a lot of data through a relay for several minutes (a large download), we pause its access to that relay for about 10 minutes and note it in the connection log.
4. How long we keep it
Desktop app reports: 7 days. Beta connection logs: 14 days. Relay server system logs: 14 days.
Connection records: 7 days. Device IP addresses: 30 days. Server health reports: 30 days.
Data used per account: 180 days.
Problem reports: the conversation stays while your account exists; attached files and logs are deleted 30 days after the problem is resolved.
Unpaid invoices: 14 days. Account activity log (for example payments approved or settings changed): 1 year.
Your account details, feedback answers, the trial code for your PC, paid invoices and payment screenshots: while your account exists, and afterwards only as long as needed for accounting or to settle a dispute.
5. Who helps us
We use trusted providers to run MyanPing: Supabase (database, sign-in and payment screenshots), Cloudflare (website hosting, app downloads and support files), Resend (sending emails), Lemon Squeezy (card payments) and Oracle Cloud (our relay servers in Japan, Singapore and Australia). They process data only to provide their service to us. Your information may therefore be stored outside Myanmar.
We share information with authorities only when the law requires it.
6. Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in and remember your language. With your permission, we also use Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager on public website pages to measure visits, pages viewed and browser/device information. Google processes this information and may process it outside Myanmar. We do not send account details or authentication tokens in our analytics events. Analytics does not load until you allow it. We remember your choice in browser storage; use Cookie settings to change it or withdraw permission. We do not enable advertising cookies.
7. Your choices and rights
You can see and edit your details on your account page. You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete your account; we keep only what we must for accounting or legal reasons. You decide whether to include the app’s log in a problem report.
8. Security
Access keys and passwords are stored only as hashes. Connections to our website and relays are encrypted, each relay has its own keys, app updates are signed so only genuine updates install, server access needs a protected key, and staff access is limited by role. No system is perfectly secure, so keep your password and keys private.
9. Children
The Service is not meant for children under 13 without a parent’s or guardian’s permission.
10. Changes and contact
If we change this policy in a meaningful way we will tell you on the website or by email. Questions or requests: contact us through our Facebook page or the email address shown on this website.
